I put my wall themometer outside just a few minutes ago at 3:30 in South Florida where I live and it?

registered 124 degrees. The reported temperature by the Weather Channel is only 95. How is this possible? They have to be lying. Even if you split the difference the temp is 110.
Is the thermometer in direct sunlight? They should be in a shaded area, so you are getting a true air temperature reading, that is unaffected by direct sunlight. The NWS uses a Stevenson
